This privacy policy explains how NA Drink Guide (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application.
What we collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
Usage data. We collect information about how you use the app — which products you view, reviews you write, and products you submit. This is used to improve the catalog and the app.
Device information. We collect a device token to send you push notifications (for example, when a product you submitted is approved). You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
Photos. If you attach a photo to a review, that image is uploaded to our servers and stored as part of your review. We do not access your camera roll beyond the photo you explicitly choose to share.
What we don’t collect
We do not collect your location. We do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not sell your data to anyone.
How we use your information
- To operate the app and maintain your account
- To display your reviews and display name to other users
- To send push notifications about submissions you’ve made (if you’ve enabled notifications)
- To improve the catalog and app based on usage patterns
What other users can see
Your display name and reviews are public within the app. Your email address is never shown to other users.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate the app:
- Firebase (Google) — account authentication and push notifications
- Cloudflare — image storage and content delivery
- Fly.io — API hosting
- Neon — database hosting
- Sentry — error monitoring (no personal data in error reports)
Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We share only the minimum data necessary for each service to function.
Data retention
Your account and reviews are retained until you delete your account. You can request deletion by contacting us at contactus@nadrinkguide.com. When your account is deleted, your reviews are anonymized rather than deleted to preserve catalog integrity — your display name will be replaced if you delete your account.
Children
NA Drink Guide is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll note the date of the last update at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
